Music Video Festival
Conch Records presents a full two days of live music from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
both days at the Marathon Community Park amphitheater, at MM49 oceanside.
Music videos of performing artists and bands are to be recorded and produced
during the event. Admission is $5 per person each day, or free for individuals
wearing an event t-shirt. Vendor booths are to have food and beverages
available; clowns and face painting for the kids.

Marathon Community Theater presents: Five Women Wearing the Same Dress
At an overdone wedding reception, five bridesmaids find refuge in an upstairs
bedroom of the sister of the bride. The women realize, among other things, that
despite their differences they have more in common with each other than any of
them do with the bride. Enjoy the saucy comedy in this frothy tale from the

19th Annual Pigeon Key Art Festival
Artists and craftspeople are to exhibit their work at Marathon Airport, mile
marker 51. The event also includes live music and delicious food, and festival
goers can retain their ticket stubs and use them to get a free ferry trip and tour of
historic Pigeon Key, a tiny island where Florida Keys Over-Sea Railroad
workers lived in the early 1900s. The offer is good for one year. Proceeds from
the event are to benefit the Pigeon Key Foundation.

she is sent to serve as governess for the widowed Captain von Trapp's seven
children. She brings the sound and joy of music back into their lives. This final
collaboration between Rodgers & Hammerstein, set in Austria at the start of
World War II, was destined to become the world's most beloved musical. Come

Original Marathon Seafood Festival
One of the middle Keys' signature culinary and family events, gourmet
delicacies from the waters of the Florida Keys highlight this annual munch-fest
at Marathon Community Park, mile marker 49 oceanside. Sponsored by
Organized Fishermen of Florida and Marathon Chamber of Commerce. Live
music, vendor booths, sweets, treats and beverages make for a delectable
weekend. Florida Keys Art Guild also hosts an open-air art show at entrance to
the festival.

Christmas in the Keys
A middle Keys event that is chock full of food, beverage, regional vendors,
music and entertainment for the entire family to kick off the holiday season. The
three-day event is to be headquartered at Hawks Cay Resort, located on Duck
Key; festival hours are Friday 5-10 p.m.; Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Sunday 11
a.m. to 4 p.m. Highlights include a lighted boat parade, delicious treats and
cocktails, Christmas-themed competitions and an opportunity for a picture with
Santa in his casual Keys attire.
